Regular cotton cultivation uses lots of chemical pesticides and fertilizers, then more harmful dyes and chemicals in processing. This doesn't.
Meeting all GOTS standards, this cotton is grown organically in Egypt and processed organically for us in Holland. We even put it on wooden spools and display it in bamboo fixtures!
Al all-purpose weight, this thread is great for quilting - both machine and especially hand - and any garment or home dec assembly.
Anything meant for babies or sensitive grown-ups deserves organic cotton thread!
